"By all accounts, Jinsey Dauk is one of the most successful headshot photographers in NYC" declares the national Photo District News.

"Jinsey's pictures are the best and are a great help in casting! We can really judge the presence and spontaneity of the performer!" say Casting Directors 'Johnson and Liff" of Broadway shows such as "The Producers," "Rent, ""Les Miserables"...

The exact same type of headshot that will lift off an actor's career to land a role in "The Producers" or "Sex in the City" will work also as successfully for someone who wishes to use it for Internet Dating! The 2 incentives are the same! To be NOTICED, and WITH GREAT INTEREST! To convey WARMTH , APPROACHABILITY, and a type of ALIVENESS that all Jinsey's photographs do naturally!

Jinsey is a natural light photographer who shoots in her floor-to-ceiling windowed Tribeca apartment living room. "Because I don't have to use flash," Jinsey says, "I'm able to catch action much faster by using my motor drive. That's why everyone's eyes are so alive and full of spontaneity! A flash makes it really difficult for people to feel at ease. With flash, they're sitting there holding a stiff smile thinking, ' Ok, when is she going to take the picture??' Then the flash happens and they think 'Phew! It's done!' That's exhausting for them, and it's not an easy way to catch a candid moment!
The way I shoot, I can take up to 7 shots per second! My client will break into a laugh, and I'll get all the different expressions leading up to the big smile! We call it "running the gamut" where I shoot people starting with a soft smile and then they grow into a natural laugh! That way all the shots are of people DOING something naturally, rather than posing!"

Says Casting director Anita Guerra, "However she does it, whether it's by relaxing people or her use of lighting, she has the ability to catch people in the candid moment when they are relaxed and their eyes, which have to communicate 90% of the personality, have a bright and alert look to them even if the person is not smiling."
